The resort has a comprehensive range of golfing facilities to compliment the superb course including a large 2 level driving range, a challenge course, putting greens and a fully equipped golfing academy.

The Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort is situated in the region of Murcia, well known for its desirable climate with 2,800 sun-hours per year and few rainy days.  Murcia offers one of the healthiest climates in Europe with an average temperature of 21ºc. It enjoys hot dry summers when maximum temperatures can reach 40ºC and relatively mild winters with temperature of  around 18ºC.

The resort is located near to the town of Fuente Alamo (Popular Spring), in beautiful countryside and close to an attractive mountain range. The historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia are both within easy reach and offer numerous attractions including museums, archaeological sites, shops, restaurants and general sightseeing.

Nearby, the Costa Calida features several blue flag beaches around the Mar Menor, a large lagoon adjacent to the Mediterranian Sea with a maximum depth of 7 meters. The warm waters of the Mar Menor are perfect water sports such as swimming ,sailing, water skiing, scuba diving and fishing. The beaches are ideal for families.

For walkers and mountain bikers, the beautiful National Park of Sierra Espuna is only a 20 minute drive away. Even skiing is available in the winter in the Sierra Nevada mountains, only two and half hours from the resort.

The Murcia region is currently benefitting for a major investment in new roads, significantly reducing driving times to many locations.  The airports of Alicante and San Javier are only 75 and 30 minutes away respectively from the Resort, with direct flights to many European destinations.  A new international airport at Corvera is currently under construction and is due to open in 2009. This airport is approximately a 15 minute drive away.
